In 1981 the biggest grossing Canadian film of all time, PORKY’S, proved to be a global phenomenon and launched the teen sex comedy sub-genre. In 1983 a sequel followed but they saved the best for last as 1985’s PORKY’S REVENGE concluded the greatest comedy trilogy of all time!

Unavailable in Britain since the VHS era, this concluding entry in the box office slaying PORKY’S trilogy has been in demand from fans of 80s cult comedy for over three decades. Before POLICE ACADEMY and REVENGE OF THE NERDS, the PORKY’S series was the most influential of all the eighties teen-centred sex farces – and its legacy can be seen in the more contemporary AMERICAN PIE series as well as recent blockbusters such as GIRL’S TRIP and THE INBETWEENERS. In this hilarious and superior flesh-flashing sequel the boys from Angel Beach High School are in their senior year, but when old enemy "Porky" (played by the late, great Chuck Mitchell) steamrolls back into town with his illegal casino and brothel, the likeable - and every horny - lads find themselves tied-up in an unwelcome plan to compromise the upcoming basketball game! Adding to the headaches is an unwanted marriage, old acquaintances, bad dates and the usual hormonal overload (thanks to the presence of the frequently topless picture-perfect Playboy Playmate Kimberly Evenson) that one would expect from a PORKY'S movie.
Complete with a gobsmacking HD restoration from 88 Films, PORKY'S REVENGE reunites all the old favourites including the late Wyatt Knight as Tommy Turner, Dan Monahan as Pee Wee, Tony Ganios as Meat, Kaki Hunter as Wendy and, of course, the legendary and much-missed Nancy Parsons as Beulah Balbricker. Also boasting a hit soundtrack from eighties disco fave Dave Edmunds, PORKY'S REVENGE is a must-see rib-tickler that conclusively stands the test of time. Whilst 88 Films may be celebrated for its line of Asian action and horror, slasher classics, Italian gore-greats and B-cheese and sleaze straight from the vault, there is little doubting that the label also likes to step out of its comfort zone from time to time.
